All Epic Kites products are covered by a 90 Day Warranty when purchased from an authorized Epic Kites dealer. This warranty guarantees everything we sell to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase of the original retail customer.
If you have any questions about the Epic Kites Warranty or procedures for making claims, please contact your local dealer or www.epickites.com. Epic Kites will determine if a product is covered under this warranty. If covered, Epic Kites will, at Epic Kites sole option, repair or replace the product in question.
This warranty is solely for the benefit of the original retail purchaser. For customer warranty claims, proof of purchase from an authorized Epic Kites dealer is required.
Customers must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) before returning any product. An RA# may be obtained directly by phone or email from Epic Kites or from an Epic Kites dealer. An RA# is a tracking number and does not confirm authorization for product replacement or warranty. Once a RA# is obtained, products may be returned to your local Epic Kites dealer. Clearly mark your RA# on the outside of the package and return within 30 days. All return products are to be sent clean and dry and freight prepaid. A copy of the original invoice and note of explanation with your RA# must be included. Your Epic Kites dealer will not accept freight collect shipments. Epic Kites will pay the freight for the return shipment.
The Warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear; fading; misuse; abuse; negligence; accident; heat; excessive exposure to cold; improper handling, storage, maintenance or care; seam failure due to over inflation by pump or heat exposure; incorrect set up; use in commercial, rental or teaching environments; use in reef wave waves, shore break or off the water; loss of kite due to carelessness or improper use of safety gear; damage caused by anything other than defects in material and workmanship.
This warranty is invalid if unauthorized modifications or repairs have been carried out.
Repairs not covered by this warranty will be charged to the customer.
